There are many delightful beaches close to St Mawes.
Here are some of our favourites:
A golden arc of sand ringed by rocks and pools overlooking St Mawes.
Safe for swimming (There’s a swimming platform to aim for) and perfect for beach picnics.
Beautiful sandy beach with National Trust car park and excellent beach café.
Perfect for families and building sand castles. Rock pools to explore and cliff-top walks
Beautiful long beach with car parks at both ends.
Dogs allowed on leads and a great place to walk and surf.
Little and Great Molunan
Also known as St Anthony’s Head or “lighthouse beach”, these little gems are idyllic with amazing views of Falmouth Bay.
Lovely for swimming or mooring up your boat.
Spectacular beach particularly at low tide. Great for swimming, damming streams, building sand castles, beach volleyball and lots more besides.
And you have the wonderful Hidden Hut for delicious lunch time treats or morning and afternoon snacks.
Dogs allowed on leads and great cliff top walks for them too.
